Description
We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead and empower our Account Executive team, driving significant revenue growth and fostering a world-class customer journey. You'll be a dual force: a hands-on coach and a strategic architect, diving into deal details while scaling sales processes and optimizing performance.Your Mission
- Inspire & Empower: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, cultivating a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
- Strategic Coaching: Provide personalized coaching to elevate individual and team sales skills, ensuring consistent achievement of targets.
- Hands-On Leadership: Actively participate in deal strategy and execution, providing direct support and guidance as needed.
- Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement strategic playbooks for down-market, mid-market, and enterprise deals.
- Process Optimization: Develop scalable processes to improve pipeline efficiency, trial conversions, and deal velocity, maximizing win and close rates.
- Process Standardization: Drive process consistency across the sales team, establishing clear standards for qualification, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Data-Driven Improvement: Leverage data to identify bottlenecks in the sales funnel and implement solutions to optimize performance.
- Culture Building: Cultivate a winning sales culture, driving accountability, collaboration, and consistent results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Customer Success, Account Management, and Support teams to create a seamless customer journey.
- Performance Measurement: Track and analyze KPIs to measure success and inform strategic decisions.
What You Bring
- Extensive SaaS Sales Leadership: 7+ years of SaaS sales experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role managing high-performing teams.
- Proven Sales Success: Demonstrated track record of improving win rates, close rates, and sales funnel efficiency.
- Multi-Market Expertise: Hands-on experience with down-market, mid-market, and enterprise sales.
- Exceptional Coaching Skills: Ability to effectively coach and develop sales professionals while fostering a team-oriented culture.
- Strategic & Hands-On Balance: Ability to balance strategic coaching with active deal engagement.
- Performance-Driven Leadership: Proven ability to drive performance with urgency while fostering team growth and innovation.
- Motivational Coaching: Assertive and motivational coaching style that challenges teams to exceed targets.
- Data-Driven & Adaptable: Highly analytical with a growth mindset, leveraging data to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional partnerships.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with modern sales tools (CRM, forecasting, sales enablement).
