Appcues is seeking a strategic and hands-on VP of Finance & Operations to lead our finance and operations team, driving financial planning, forecasting, business intelligence, revenue operations, and operational finance capabilities. You'll ensure continued excellence in controls, governance, and corporate secretarial responsibilities while scaling our operations for rapid growth.

Your Mission

• Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Develop and scale forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling to drive strategic decision-making.
• Data-Driven Business Intelligence (BI): Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable, data-driven insights that fuel growth and efficiency.
• Operational Finance Partnership: Collaborate with product, engineering, and GTM teams to establish and measure goals, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
• Revenue Operations Optimization: Streamline marketing, sales, and customer journey processes, partnering with leadership to drive high-velocity GTM strategies.
• Integrated Business Operations: Lead and integrate revenue and broader business operations to ensure seamless systems and processes, driving productivity.
• Company-Wide Operational Roadmap: Define and execute a comprehensive operational roadmap, aligning teams, systems, and workflows.
• Rigorous Controls & Governance: Uphold stringent financial controls, compliance, and corporate secretarial responsibilities.
• Strategic Executive Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, providing financial and operational insights.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor finance, revenue operations, and BI teams, fostering a culture of excellence.

What You Bring

• Proven SaaS Finance Leadership: Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles at high-growth SaaS or technology companies ($20-100m ARR).
• Comprehensive Financial & Operational Expertise: Expertise in FP&A, forecasting, BI, operational finance, revenue operations, and business operations, with a strong understanding of SaaS metrics.
• Operational Roadmap Implementation: Experience driving cross-functional operational roadmaps and aligning systems for improved business outcomes.
• Financial Controls & Compliance Mastery: Strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and compliance.
• Strategic & Hands-On Approach: Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution.
• Exceptional Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
