Description
Join our rapidly growing team at Haus as a Senior People Operations Specialist and be a key player in building a world-class employee experience. You'll own our HR tech stack and ensure seamless compliance across multiple jurisdictions, collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Compliance teams to maintain operational excellence.Your Mission
- HR Tech Ecosystem Ownership: Serve as the primary owner of our HR technology ecosystem, overseeing implementation, integration, and optimization.
- Global Compliance Leadership: Lead compliance initiatives across multiple states and countries, staying abreast of evolving regulations.
- Legal Partnership & Policy Development: Partner with Legal to develop and implement compliant HR policies and procedures.
- Finance Collaboration on Payroll & Benefits: Collaborate with Finance on payroll operations, equity administration, and benefits accounting.
- Complex Employment Issue Management: Manage complex employment issues, including leaves of absence, accommodations, and international jurisdictions.
- Process Documentation & Maintenance: Design and maintain clear documentation for key people processes and compliance requirements.
- HR System Data Integrity: Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity across all HR systems.
- Global Mobility & Immigration Support: Support global mobility and immigration processes for international employees.
- Team Empowerment Through Training: Create clear documentation and training to empower the broader People team.
What You Bring
- Extensive People Operations Experience: 7+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, with at least 3 years focusing on compliance and systems.
- HRIS & Tech Integration Expertise: Demonstrated expertise with HRIS platforms and HR technology integration.
- Multi-Jurisdictional Employment Law Knowledge: Strong knowledge of employment laws across multiple U.S. states and international jurisdictions.
- Legal & Finance Collaboration Experience: Experience partnering with Legal and Finance teams on complex compliance matters.
- Strong Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical & Reporting Skills: Strong analytical abilities with experience in reporting and data analysis.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex compliance topics.
