Description
As our Head of Engineering, you’ll drive the development of our app, customer portals, automation systems, and product infrastructure while ensuring a world-class UI/UX in collaboration with the marketing team. This role is at the intersection of innovation, engineering, and product development, shaping the future of insurtech.What You’ll Do
- Lead Application Development – Drive the engineering and continuous enhancement of our mobile app, digital platforms, and customer enrollment systems to streamline insurance purchasing and management.
- Build Seamless Digital Experiences – Work closely with the marketing team to create an intuitive, high-performing UI/UX across the website, app, and digital products.
- Develop & Optimize Portals – Engineer and refine customer and partner portals, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for users interacting with our insurance products.
- Redesign & Automate Systems – Overhaul and optimize internal systems, enhancing efficiency through CRM management, process automations, and data integrations.
- Scale Infrastructure – Ensure a robust, scalable, and secure architecture, optimizing APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Drive Product Innovation – Spearhead the development of new insurtech solutions, leveraging AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
- Ensure Security & Compliance – Maintain data security best practices and ensure our platforms meet global regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate & Align – Work closely with the Chief of Staff, Marketing, and Product teams to align technical innovation with business strategy.
- Lead & Grow the Engineering Team – Recruit, mentor, and develop an agile team of engineers to execute and innovate at scale.
What You Bring
- Experience in software engineering, technical leadership, or product development
- Expertise in app development, UI/UX optimization, and API integrations
- Strong background in CRM systems, process automation, and digital workflows
- Experience with cloud architecture, scalable systems, and security best practices
- Deep understanding of agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
- A track record of leading engineering teams and shipping impactful products
- Experience in fintech, insurtech, healthtech, or traveltech (a huge plus!)
- A passion for building innovative, customer-centric digital experiences
