We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in an existing, impactful project: a cutting-edge cardiology platform. This platform enhances heart signal data from medical devices, providing doctors with an intuitive interface for processing and analyzing critical cardiovascular information. In this dynamic role, you will also contribute your expertise to the discovery phases of our pre-sales activities, shaping future opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Product Architecture Ownership: Define, design, and maintain a scalable, secure, and efficient system architecture that aligns with our business objectives and ensures the platform's continued success.
• Team Collaboration & Technical Leadership: Work closely with multiple Scrum teams (typically 2-3, each comprising a PM, BA, 2 Developers, 1 QA, and 1 DevOps Engineer), providing clear technical guidance, ensuring architectural consistency across the project, and fostering best practices.
• Hands-On Development & Standards Setting: Contribute directly to the implementation of key features, setting high technical standards through thorough code reviews and active participation in the development process.
• Pre-Sales Architectural Support: Participate actively in discovery phases for new projects, providing valuable architectural insights and contributing to compelling technical proposals.

Key Skills & Experience

• Extensive Software Development Background: 7+ years of demonstrable professional experience in software development.
• Frontend Mastery: Deep expertise in React.js, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, and proficiency with data visualization libraries (e.g., ECharts, Chart.js).
• Backend Proficiency: Solid backend experience with Node.js, NestJS/Express.js, and a strong understanding of event-driven architectures utilizing technologies like SQS, SNS, or Kafka.
• Data Management Expertise: Proven proficiency with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and modern data processing techniques (e.g., Parquet, DuckDB).
• Cloud-Native Architecture Expertise: Extensive experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native architectures, preferably on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• High Availability & Disaster Recovery: In-depth understanding of multi-region deployments, robust disaster recovery strategies, high availability principles, and cost optimization techniques in the cloud.
• AWS Service Acumen: Demonstrated ability to strategically select and implement appropriate AWS services (e.g., Cognito, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch) based on specific technical and business requirements.
• Cross-Cloud Familiarity (Bonus): Familiarity with other major cloud platforms such as Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a significant plus.
• Cloud Cost Management: Proven experience in accurately estimating cloud infrastructure and development costs, with the ability to forecast and implement strategies for cost optimization.
• Estimation & Planning Skills: Skilled in project and feature-level estimation, including detailed effort breakdowns and effective resource planning.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Proven technical leadership experience, including conducting effective code reviews, providing clear architectural guidance, and mentoring development team members.
• DevOps Proficiency: Hands-on knowledge of modern DevOps practices and associated tools, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), automation tools (GitHub Actions, CloudWatch, Terraform).
• Continuous Learning: A strong continuous learning mindset with a proactive interest in exploring emerging technologies and driving architectural improvements.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Significant proven experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role, with a strong foundation in JavaScript-based technologies.
• Experience in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
