Description
We are seeking a results-oriented and proactive Paid Social Media Manager to independently manage and optimize paid social media campaigns for our clients. You will be responsible for driving performance, fostering strong client relationships, and staying at the forefront of the ever-evolving social advertising landscape.Duties/Responsibilities
- Independent Campaign Management: Take full ownership of paid social media campaigns, strategically optimizing ad placements, targeting parameters, and creative assets to consistently achieve and exceed client goals.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for mid-level client stakeholders, proactively engaging in discussions regarding ad performance, audience targeting refinements, and creative testing strategies.
- Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Diligently monitor campaign performance, proactively identify and escalate critical issues (e.g., performance dips, ad disapprovals, client concerns) with a clearly articulated resolution plan.
- Account Management: Effectively manage a portfolio of 8-10 client accounts, maintaining full operational bandwidth or a total of $40,000 in Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
- Platform Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns across key platforms including Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, adhering to platform best practices and guidelines.
- Multi-Touch Attribution Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of Multi-Touch Attribution models within the context of social media platforms, enabling you to support comprehensive campaign analysis and attribution reporting for clients.
- Continuous Learning & Adaptation: Stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring paid social media trends, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices, proactively adapting campaign strategies to align with platform changes and evolving audience behavior.
- Creative Strategy & Testing: Develop innovative creative strategies for social media advertisements, actively engaging in rigorous A/B testing to identify and scale high-performing creative iterations.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Conduct thorough A/B tests, implement strategic audience segmentation, and execute data-backed creative adjustments to consistently improve campaign engagement metrics and overall return on investment (ROI).
- Insightful Client Presentations: Present clear and concise data-driven insights to clients, providing actionable recommendations to enhance their paid social media engagement and achieve their objectives.
- Business Alignment: Analyze individual client business models to effectively align paid social media strategies with their overarching revenue and engagement goals.
- Internal Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to internal training initiatives by mentoring junior team members on best practices for efficient and effective paid social media campaign execution.
- Operational Efficiency: Execute established operational workflows to streamline campaign management processes, improve overall efficiency, and maximize campaign effectiveness.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Deep Understanding of Paid Social: Possess a strong foundational understanding of social media advertising targeting methodologies, budget allocation strategies, and effective ad creative principles.
- Client Management Experience: 1-2 years of proven experience in managing client relationships, ideally with Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs), demonstrating the ability to independently handle client interactions related to paid social campaign updates and performance.
- Performance Optimization Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in optimizing ad performance through systematic testing methodologies, in-depth data analysis, and strategic audience segmentation techniques.
- Confident Client Communication: Ability to engage with clients confidently and professionally, effectively discussing performance metrics, addressing inquiries thoughtfully, and providing valuable insights with minimal direct supervision.
- Platform Proficiency: Proven proficiency in utilizing and navigating the advertising platforms of Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Business Acumen: Understands how various business models can influence and shape effective paid social media strategies, contributing informed insights during team discussions and client strategy sessions.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of independently handling and resolving mid-tier campaign escalations.
- Operational Efficiency: Effectively manages daily operational tasks associated with paid social media campaigns, adhering to established workflow guidelines and ensuring seamless campaign execution.
- Exceptional Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple client projects and adhere to strict deadlines simultaneously.
- Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Ability to readily adapt to ongoing changes within social media platforms and evolving industry trends.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Client Retention: Maintain a churn rate of less than 5% of Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) per quarter.
- Relationship Longevity: Maintain an average client relationship duration of 1 year.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sustain prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
- Comfortable and proficient in communicating clearly and professionally through various digital channels, including video calls, email, and phone.
