Description
At Torch, our Sales Development department is the engine that drives new business by forging connections with prospective clients. We're looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to play a key role in rapidly expanding our client base and uncovering exciting new revenue opportunities.Our client portfolio is diverse, spanning innovative startups to established Fortune 500 companies. In this critical role, you'll be on the front lines of building new business through proactive cold outbound efforts. You're passionate about cultivating relationships, understanding client needs, and positioning Torch as the ideal partner to support their leadership growth.
This position reports directly to the SDR Team Manager.
YOUR ROLE WILL INVOLVE
- Developing a deep understanding of our diverse client needs and the comprehensive Torch product suite to ensure successful alignment and value propositions.
- Proactively prospecting and generating qualified leads through a multi-channel approach, including strategic cold calling, targeted email campaigns, engaging social media outreach, and effective professional networking.
- Leveraging premium sales outreach technologies, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, strategic cold calling techniques, and AI-powered tools to build a robust and high-potential sales pipeline.
- Qualifying leads through insightful and meaningful conversations to accurately assess their level of interest, budgetary considerations, and decision-making authority.
- Collaborating closely and strategically with the broader sales team and experienced Account Executives to develop effective strategies for successful lead conversion and significant revenue growth.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious monthly and quarterly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by the SDR Team Manager.
- Collaborating with marketing teams (under the guidance of the SDR Team Manager) to provide valuable feedback on lead quality and contribute suggestions for enhancing lead generation strategies and campaign effectiveness.
- Representing Torch professionally and enthusiastically at relevant industry events, trade shows, and conferences to expand our network, connect with potential customers, and elevate brand awareness.
- Demonstrating a strong work ethic characterized by persistence, resilience, and a proactive approach to pursuing sales targets and effectively overcoming objections.
