Description
You will be the driving force behind expanding our reach and impact by developing and executing strategies that powerfully communicate our mission, core values, and overarching vision to a diverse audience. Your primary focus will be on cultivating significant community growth, inspiring active participation, and fostering meaningful discussions around our crucial work.Your efforts will be instrumental in connecting with individuals in the real world who urgently need access to trust-minimised, corruption-resistant public services that steadfastly uphold civil liberties.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to clearly articulate our aims to target audiences, and create clear and accessible pathways for individuals to actively participate in our organisation.
- Cultivate and nurture volunteer-driven contributions that effectively build our movement while actively encouraging autonomy and empowering individual initiative.
- Fully involve yourself in the campaign planning process, contributing strategically to budget allocation, resource management, and prioritisation of key activities.
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated Project Manager and Brand Manager to co-lead a dynamic communication team responsible for the effective execution of impactful campaigns.
- Design scalable processes and establish the necessary structure and information frameworks to enable local Logos communities/cells to thrive and operate effectively.
- Implement strategies to significantly increase donations to the organisation, ensuring the sustainability of our vital work.
- Ensure that Logos’ core humanitarian aims are communicated with clarity, empathy, and impact to resonate with a broad audience.
- Diligently track and rigorously measure the impact and effectiveness of all campaigns, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A proven background in successfully building community organisations, managing impactful political campaigns, or working directly for humanitarian causes.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience effectively managing a team, overseeing budgets, and consistently achieving set goals.
- A genuine passion for, and in-depth understanding of, the principles and potential of web3 technologies.
- A strong and unwavering alignment with our core principles and values.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling and persuasive messaging.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills with the ability to articulate our vision clearly and inspire action.
- A demonstrable willingness to continuously learn, engage with relevant information, take initiative, and lead by example.
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand written content for a broad audience.
- The ability to foster collaborative and productive relationships across the entire organisation, working effectively with diverse teams.
Bonus points
- Experience working directly for an open source organisation and understanding its unique dynamics.
- A background in Computer Science / Software Engineering, providing a deeper understanding of the technologies we leverage.
- A background in Political Science, offering valuable insights into the societal and political landscapes we operate within.
- A passion for the concepts of Network States and Parallel Societies, aligning with our long-term vision.
