Description

You will join the Nimbus team and play a crucial role in the synergistic relationship between Nimbus and Nomos. Your primary focus will be on deeply understanding the specifications provided by Nomos, offering valuable feedback, and ensuring seamless integration and a shared understanding between both projects. You will:

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of both Nimbus and Nomos, including their distinct architectures, underlying designs, and core functionalities.
• Actively consume technical specifications released by Nomos, providing constructive feedback to ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness, and proactively clarifying any ambiguities that may arise.
• Collaborate closely and effectively with the Nimbus development team to identify potential technical issues, integration challenges, or areas for architectural improvement within the Nomos specifications.

Requirements

• Deep Blockchain Expertise: Strong and demonstrable understanding of core blockchain technology and its fundamental principles. This implies several years of direct involvement in the blockchain industry and a high level of familiarity with decentralised technologies.
• Privacy-Focused Ethos: A genuine care for user privacy and a strong commitment to building protocols and applications that are truly decentralised, privacy-preserving, and censorship-resistant.
• Technical Foundation & Documentation Skills: A solid technical background (e.g., Software Engineer or a similar role with hands-on development experience) coupled with proven experience in technical documentation and specification review/creation.
• Proactive and Communicative Nature: You are inherently proactive, possess strong communication skills, and have a natural ability to drive tasks forward and ensure effective information flow.

Bonus points

• Previous experience working within an open-source organisation and understanding its collaborative dynamics.
• Direct experience using the Nimbus client or prior work within a privacy-focused project or organisation.
