Description
Reporting directly to Thomas, CMO/Co-founder, this is a high-impact, strategic, and hands-on role with the exciting opportunity to build and lead the User Acquisition (UA) team based on demonstrable performance. You will be instrumental in scaling our user base from 30 million to 100 million within the next 12 months, all while optimizing for CAC, ROAS, and LTV at scale. You'll thrive in a dynamic environment, leveraging deep analytical skills, driving high-velocity testing, and continuously improving our acquisition funnels. If you're a performance marketing expert with a strong owner's mindset and a knack for turning complexity into scalable growth, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Ownership and Scaling- Own the strategy and performance across multiple paid channels — initially managing one or two key channels, then expanding scope and supporting new initiatives as results scale.
- Guide UA operations across media buying, creatives, and funnels, while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution.
- Build highly scalable acquisition funnels — from meticulous execution to continuous iteration — with aggressive growth targets top of mind.
- Run high-velocity testing loops (creatives, audiences, placements) to continuously improve Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Contribute significantly to overall channel strategy and cross-channel budget allocation decisions.
- Collaborate closely with the CMO and executive team on defining and achieving quarterly UA goals.
- Monitor performance daily using advanced tools like Voluum, GA4, and internal dashboards.
- Drive critical decision-making through deep analysis of CPA, ROAS, retention, and detailed cohort behavior.
- Build and maintain robust internal reporting frameworks that precisely guide both strategic shifts and tactical moves.
- Own the entire creative briefing process: meticulously define compelling hooks, effective formats, and winning angles based on performance patterns and actionable insights.
- Collaborate closely with the content and product teams to launch and iteratively optimize high-converting landing pages.
- Implement scalable systems to significantly reduce creative fatigue and dramatically increase the speed of testing.
- Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key traffic sources and expertly negotiate premium placements and custom deals.
- Proactively explore new acquisition opportunities (networks, formats, tools) and build internal evaluation criteria for their viability.
- Stay ahead of ecosystem changes (platform rules, algorithm shifts) and rapidly adapt strategy accordingly.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline acquisition processes through automation and the development of internal tools.
- Create clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and experiment pipelines for efficiently scaling campaigns.
Challenges You’ll Tackle
- Aggressive User Growth: Lead the charge to scale user growth from 30M to 100M in the next 12 months, with full ownership of performance across your assigned channels, optimizing relentlessly for CAC, ROAS, and LTV.
- Scalable Creative Engine: Build and oversee a highly scalable creative engine: define clear briefs, establish robust testing frameworks, and implement efficient creative feedback loops that drive sustained performance.
- Systematize Landing Page Production: Set the definitive playbook to launch, iterate, and scale high-converting landing pages, in close collaboration with product and design teams.
- Expand the Acquisition Mix: Proactively identify, test, and strategically scale new channels (direct-buy, programmatic, or paid social), ensuring strong evaluation and systematic rollout.
- Lay the Foundations for a High-Performance UA Team: Lead by example in both hands-on execution and strategic direction, and contribute to hiring, onboarding, and mentoring as the team grows.
Your Qualifications
Hard Skills- 7–10 years of extensive experience in user acquisition, performance marketing, or growth — with a proven focus on paid traffic channels (direct-buy, programmatic, or paid social).
- Proven track record of scaling campaigns with clear, measurable business impact (e.g., significant CAC reduction, substantial LTV growth, significant revenue lift).
- Expertise in media buying operations: deep knowledge of tracking setups, UTMs, postbacks, pixel integrations, and intricate attribution flows.
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Voluum, GA4, and direct experience managing campaigns on major acquisition channels such as TrafficJunky, ExoClick, TrafficStars, Meta, TikTok, or Google.
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional decision-making skills — you are comfortable owning dashboards, living in spreadsheets, and meticulously analyzing cohort reports.
- Strategic experience building and scaling acquisition funnels — from leading creative testing to in-depth landing page optimization.
- Cross-functional leadership: proven ability to collaborate effectively with product, creative, and data teams to align on ambitious growth goals.
- Management: experience mentoring or managing other media buyers is a plus but not mandatory for this hands-on leadership role.
- Strong communication & collaborative skills (perfectly fluent in English).
- Proven leadership instincts — able to align stakeholders, confidently take ownership of UA direction, and contribute to team scaling.
- Goal-oriented, high ownership, and unwavering commitment to achieving ambitious targets.
- Doer mindset: We are moving fast, and we need people who can find the right balance between rapid execution, strategic planning, and overall channel strategy.
- Obsessive about speed, performance, and iteration.
- Humble: Willing to learn, open to constructive feedback, and committed to continuous improvement.
- #NSFW: Comfortable building products based on uncensored models and content.
Note: If you feel strongly that you have what it takes for this role but don’t check 100% of the boxes—that’s okay—we encourage you to apply anyway and highlight what you can bring to the table.
