Description

We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll drive technical initiatives across various teams, helping us build standalone web applications, in-app web applications within our gaming apps, and integrations with service providers.

Your Objectives

• From MVPs to Production: Drive technical initiatives across various teams to ensure the delivery of MVPs for online poker games and applications that help recreational players improve their skills. Lead the transition from MVP to production, ensuring scalability and reliability for a global audience.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, participate in architectural decisions, and stay ahead of industry trends.
• UI Development: Architect and implement responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, Next.js).
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Code Quality: Enforce clean, maintainable code with testing and code reviews.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve bottlenecks to optimize applications to meet the demands of B2C scenarios.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience: 7+ years in frontend development with 3+ years in a senior/lead role.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with React & Next.js and/or Vue & Nuxt.
• Experience with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, SASS.
• Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and Web Sockets.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks like Jest and Cypress.
• Proficiency in both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Strong experience with Node.js, preferably including backend development with NestJS and frontend development with React & Next.js.
• Cloud Technologies: Preferably experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and Cloudflare, including the ability to design, deploy, and maintain robust cloud-based applications.
• Distributed Systems using Microservices: Expertise in crafting resilient, scalable, and maintainable software architectures, leveraging event-driven architectures and microservices best practices. Skilled in using observability tools to monitor and optimize performance.
• DevOps and CI/CD: Hands-on experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions), preferably proficiency with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Security: Preferably a solid understanding and experience with security best practices.
